SCHOOL SUPPLIES NEEDED  School Starts August 8  It’s nearly back to school time and the Presbyterian Women would like to help with supplies for students in Staunton City and Augusta County.  We ask that you join us so that we can help every student strive to succeed! Kay Mader’s Retirement

After twenty years of dedicated service to Second Church, Kay Mader retired from her position as the Director of Christian Education and Administration.  During her time here Kay oversaw all details of the education program, including the Sunday School program, furthering the Christian education of all ages.  She always worked tirelessly and well to serve the needs of her church.   A reception in her honor was held following worship on June 25th.

Graduation Sunday

On Sunday, June 11, the Christian Education/Worship Committee held a reception after to church to recognize our 2017 graduate, Kemper Elise Snyder A “Card Basket” was available at the reception so that we could add our personal wishes to Kemper.  Kemper is the daughter of Tim Ellis and Kriston Snyder, and granddaughter of Pam Snyder.  She has a brother, Jaidon, and a daughter, Korbyn. Kemper graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, receiving a 4-year academic merit scholarship.  While at Lee, Kemper lettered in basketball and ran track..  She received Robert E. Lee’s 2017 Most Valuable Player for Track and Field, placed 4th in the 100 meter hurdles and 10th in the 100 yard dash [...]
