This year Ash Wednesday is February 26th.  Second Church will observe this holy beginning to the season of Lent with a fellowship meal at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall, followed by the imposition of ashes at 6:45 p.m.  Please come join us for this spiritually meaningful time.

You love your dog.  We love your dog.  Even better, God loves your dog. God has given us our pets as helpers, companions, and to make our lives richer.  And amazingly, God even uses our pets to teach us things about God.   On Sunday, February 23rd at 4 p.m., Second Church is hosting our monthly alternative worship service that we like to call "Dog Church."  We want to provide this service to our community, and we want to create a place where dog lovers can meet one another and maybe even form our own community. So come on out, meet some great people, and let's celebrate God's creation together!

On Sunday, February 9th, Second Church was pleased to welcome five new members to our fellowship.  All have been attending for several months and expressed a desire to become members, in order to be more invested in the life of Second Church. Pastor Evan cracking a joke with the new members Jim and Cathy McKenna, with their beautiful daughter Adeline Jerry & Kayla Siford Amanda Harris - a trained Stephen's Minister, who looks forward to bringing these gifts to serve Second Church.

On Sunday February 16th Second Church will hold a meeting of the congregation after worship for the purpose of reviewing the 2019 Annual Report, as well as having a time of questions and answers about the state of the church.  All who are able are encouraged to stay after worship for the meeting.
