Welcome to our online worship for Sunday, March 27th. We’re so happy you’ve chosen to worship with us either live at 10:30 a.m. or at a time of your later convenience. As we continue our new worship series entitled, “God on the Move,” today we’re focusing on the story often known as “The Prodigal Son.”  In this story, a younger son spends his inheritance in wild living in a foreign land, but then when things get tough, he finds out he has no real friends, no real prospects, and even no hope.  So he decides to return to his father’s house and beg to be received even as a servant.  But when his father sees him in the distance, he runs out to him, fully restoring this young man as his son.  The father in this story represents God, and through this story we see that God moves down the road to welcome us home, God is searching for us, longing for us, more than we ever could long for God.
